... is a lemon tree. It feels so exotic to me to be able to just go out the door and pick lemons off the tree. It looks like we've got a whole bunch of them getting ripe soon and I'm trying to think of ways to use them. Maybe some gelato like Francesca, a lemon pie and lemonade. We'll see.
Enjoy your weekend.
I'm so jealous! I think for anyone living in Scandinavia these kind of things seem like fairytales. All we have here up Norht are apples, and our apples are really not that great if you ask me...
ReplyDeleteBe sure to share the recipe, whatever it is you make of them! :)
I know! I have so many fond childhood memories of eating small and bitter Danish apples, it would've been pretty cool if some of them could've involved, say, an orange ;-)
DeleteGorgeous shots. I love that you have a lemon tree nearby!
ReplyDeleteMe too! :-)

ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your proximity to a lemon tree! :) The only time I have had that luxury is once when I was vacationing in Bodrum, Turkey, and the courtyard of the hostel had one that we had unlimited access to during our stay.
ReplyDeleteThank you for bringing up such good memories I had forgotten! :)
Happy lemon-eating!
Lemons! Nothing reminds me more of spring coming than lemons (and lemonade) :)
ReplyDeleteLemons...the smell has to be incredible!
ReplyDeletewow! Gid jeg havde et smukt citrontræ i min baghave. Det er absolut en af mine favoritfrugter! Prøv en klassisk citronfromage:

Us too. I love growing food, it is so rewarding!
ReplyDeleteLoved these Ida !
ReplyDeleteSo lovely photos, I feel remember to Angus and Julia Stone song "Mango Tree", "wish I had a mango tree in my backyard"; but me I would also take a lemon tree.

A lemon tree! I'm jealous. My old neighbor used to have a kiwi tree. I wonder if they tasted any good.
