I’m generally not a big fan of Fisherman's Wharf; too crowded for my taste but I’ll venture there for Musée Mécanique. We brought my parents here when they were visiting a couple of weeks ago and they loved it (see pictures! ). Located at Pier 45 it holds a large collection of antique arcade games and mechanically operated musical instruments. Best of all, for a quarter or two you get to play!
General admission is free.

You should also just venture there for the great [and not so pricey] lobster rolls :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day!
It looks like a really fun place to go. Even if it is not your thing...it is fun to see how others enjoy themselves. I like looking at your photos on your posts. They are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAw! This looks like so much fun, love the pcs!
ReplyDelete@theresaliz: yes, I've heard that the lobster rolls and clam chowder should be really good - I don't eat any seafood so I wouldn't know ;-) It was a great day!
ReplyDelete@HappySquirrel: Oh, the arcade games are 'my thing' , it's just the (touristy) area in which it's located that I'm not too fond of :-)
Colours, vintage...they have something of old moments...how is all going? Sorry for not leaving a word...cannot find a moment.
ReplyDeleteHope everything is going ok!
